Chosen Charity

Each team has to raise a minimum of £6,000 for our chosen charity. We encourage skiers to set up a "VirginGiving" site for their team with all money raised goes directly to the charity. All expenses of the event are paid for by the competitors themselves.

This year's charity is Snow-Camp. It is a worthy winner of the competition to become the Coeur Blanc charity 2016. We are raising money to expand their program into 3 new Cities.

Snow-Camp is an innovative youth charity that uses a unique combination of skiing, snowboarding and life-skills programmes to support inner-city young people. With the support of all the top names in skiing they a changing young people’s lives in a big way for the better. They have just been awarded Small Employer of the Year at the South-East National Apprenticeship Awards.

In addition, we have to thank the ski instructors who have always kindly given their fees to support local Méribel charities. Méribel has some of the best disabled ski equipment in the Alps thanks to the Coeur Blanc. This year we intend to provide a further 7,500 euros to help fund disabled children’s trips to Méribel.
