Early birds

For skiers and supporters a dinner has been arranged at Le Bistro in the L'Orée du Bois Hotel near the Rond Point at 7.45pm. A favourite haunt for many, with delicious food and a nice modern atmosphere. After dinner, everyone is invited to join “La Luge Blanc” toboggan ride down to the Grand Coeur Hotel where a large glass of something reviving will be waiting.

Friday 16 March

Warm up skiing and route planning


Meet at the Bottom of Rhodos lift in Chaudanne Area to take the lift to the Rhododendron Restaurant. The lift will be opened specially for our event.


Drinks and canapés for a reception to include instructions for the following day, and an oft repeated Health & Safety briefing. Team Captains will be given their scorecards at this event. ALL SKIERS MUST ATTEND THIS EVENT, but it is also open to friends and supporters too.


Post drinks, all who have attended the reception are invited to join a torchlit ski descent to Méribel Village where buses will be waiting to transfer everyone back to their accommodation.

Saturday 17 March

Challenge begins


A bus will leave the Centre of Méribel taking skiers to the first lift in Brides Les Bains. The bus will stop enroute in Les Allues to collect additional skiers.


Lifts open and the challenge begins. The order of teams joining the lift will have been chosen out of a hat the night before.

Noon — 2pm

A packed lunch will be available for collection by skiers as they pass through Mottaret (details provided to Team Captains).


All lifts close.
All skiers must finish the challenge by skiing to the terrace of the Yeti Hotel.


Drinks reception at the Yeti Hotel where, for the successful challengers, the diamond badges will be awarded.


The event concludes with a photograph on the steps of the Yeti for all successful skiers.
